That’s when I came across Cisco Skills for All. The more I explored courses and content, the more I got to understand where my strengths lied and what I wanted to achieve in the next 5 years. Cisco Networking Academy and Packet Tracer became my “go to” tools, and I am excited to say that because of that, I have become good in the set-up, management, troubleshooting, and expansion of enterprise networks. I constantly explore more and more each few months and my goal is to become CCIE certified in the next 7 years. Thank you, Cisco!”

I thought that it was a virus and antivirus was the answer. But the same thing kept happening and the system often experienced blackouts and overheating. The solution I provided was to set up the system and network, from scratch. I am very grateful that the Indonesian government, especially the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, has opened up opportunities so that I can learn a lot through the Cisco program and find a lot of knowledge, especially in the world of security systems. At the conclusion of the training, I will be able to limit the flow of usage and stop attacks from intruders into our network system. Thanks Cisco.”

“My 6 months training in Cybersecurity with Cisco Networking Academy has not only made an impact but changed my life completely in so many ways. One of them is it has made me a subject matter expert, confident and highly motivated in the field. Also, it has helped in my professional development and motivation goals. That reminds me I was part of a zoom meeting with a panel of six (6) knowledge experts in the field of IT and we had a discussion on IOT (internet of things) being a hotspot for hackers and how to mitigate it. They were impressed by how I dissected the subject matter and I couldn’t have done it without the confidence from Cisco Networking Academy. However, being a Cisco NetAcad alumni has really brightened not just my place of work but everywhere I find myself. As an IT/computing tutor where I work, my students always appreciate information I share because I usually make use of practical examples I learned while being a student at Cisco NetAcad, especially when dealing with data breaches, data integrity and data security. Lastly, My community cannot be left out when it comes to the impact it has had. I have a small CyberSharp community group which comprises of young guys and girls from the age of 15-18. The objective of this group is to educate, inform and make people aware of new ways hackers, attackers, scammers etc. operate and how we can be cyber sharp in the mind and in doing to avoid being a victim. Thank you!”
